Chiefs Have One On Injury Report; Raiders List 10
The Kansas City Chiefs are getting so close to issuing a name-less injury report. If there are no injuries, do you issue an injury report? Maybe that's a question we'll find out later this year but not today.
The Chiefs have one name on their injury for Wednesday -- S Donald Washington. He has an ankle injury and did not practice. Washington has been on the injury report a few times in recent weeks for an ankle injury and was out last week against the Tennessee Titans.
The KC Star's Adam Teicher reported LB Mike Vrabel was absent from the beginning of practice but he's not on the injury report so we assume he returned.
But one player isn't too shabby. Last week the Chiefs had two players listed (LB Cory Greenwood and Washington) and just one (QB Matt Cassel) the week before that.
The same can't be said for the Raiders who have 10 players listed on Wednesday's injury report:
Did not participate: RB Darren McFadden (toe), DT Richard Seymour (hamstring), T Langston Walker (concussion)
Limited participation: WR Johnnie Lee Higgins (ankle), CB Chris Johnson (groin), WR Nick Miller (ankle), S Michael Mitchell (shoulder, ribs)
Full participation: CB Nnamdi Asomugha (ankle), T Mario Henderson (ankle), TE Zach Miller (foot)

I've read rumors that McFadden wouldn't play
I hope that’s the case.
Playoffs: Coming to Arrowhead, January 2011
Hard to know anything for sure
Until Friday.

the Chiefs are gonna prepare for him regardless
They’d be stupid not to….

I know nothing's official yet
But I imagine they’re more likely to sit him with it being the last game of the year.

I don't know.
He’ll have several months to get healthy after the game. I would think he’d be less likely to play if it wasn’t their last game of the year.
YAAAAAY! Now you go, lady!
idk about that
They want to sweep the division & make sure they do their best to make sure we’re banged up going into what will probably be a short week for us….they also want to be the only blemish on our home record….DMC gives them the best chance to do all of those things. My guess is if he can walk on 2 feet, he’ll play on Sunday.

I'd prefer Seymour not play
He pretty much dominated our line last time.
wasnt just him
Kelly & Henderson too.

McFadden leads the league in Yards per carry
It must be true, I read it at Silver and Black Pride
Let’s see, you have the featured back with the most yards per touch in the AFC, Darren McFadden (Sorry Charlie, Jamal Charles is still a change of pace back

i like Raider logic
i can play too.
bq Let’s see, you have the back whose last name begins with “M” with the most yards per touch in the AFC, Darren McFadden (Sorry Charlie, Jamal Charles last name starts with “C”)
Are Raiders fans retarded?
What does this even mean?!

Yes
It means they’re Raider fans.
Funny story, I go to school in between LA and the Bay. There are some Charger fans, some Niner fans, hell a couple Rams fans.
But I don’t understand. Why are there no Raider fans at college?
Playoffs: Coming to Arrowhead, January 2011
Because they are on probation
in jail, or just to ashamed of wearing thier colors at a college (fear of being accused for everything)..

Nothing is better than being completely
healthy during a playoff run! Well, besides winning out in the playoffs ;)
Jamaal Charles...Enough said.
Picks
146-94
On another note...I love Jets fans!
Step 1 – Go to Kansas City and beat the Chiefs, they are the prototypical team that the Jets can beat (like the Lions, though with a better running game)

The Lions a prototypical team?
Surprised the moron could spell prototypical.
I’m glad they’re excited to be playing in Arrowhead. I’ll be glad if they’re there.

He could spell it, but I doubt he knows what it means.

Haha
Lions would have beat the Jets if it wasn’t for the worst 3rd down playcall in the history of football.

So let me see
The Chiefs are better version of the Lions whom the Jets barely as Stafford missed the fourth quarter and ot. I guess given that dumb jet logic we should rest cassel and play brodie and we’ll have a shot to steal a win late.

The Chiefs conditioning program and the way
they use players is certainly paying off in terms of injuries.
"The Hammer"
I was just thinking that
The conditioning system is simply amazing. I mean look at Vrabel, Jones and Weigmann, (our three oldest players) have they been out even once this year with an injury? Have they been even listed? Yes you are right I should put Chambers up there for age too and that would throw off this point, but in any set of data there’s bound to be one anomaly :)

The NFL
and those questioning the NFL’s decision to expand to 18 games, should looking into the Chiefs injury situation. Why are there so few Chiefs players getting injured? It seems every team we play has had multiple injuries while we’ve had few. I’ve heard so many players going to the IR, and yet not one Chiefs player has (during the regular season). Besides McCluster, I can’t remember another Chiefs player missing more than 3 games in a row. Why? Maybe there’s no difference, and it’s all just luck. Maybe not.
Bates went on IR during the season.
I think it’s too small of a sample size to draw any conclusions at this point. I’m sure the conditioning program helps, but how much, who knows. There is always a luck factor.
YAAAAAY! Now you go, lady!
A dollar says that the Raiders are still trying to count to 10...
They should have just asked the Chiefs to add it up for them.

not to get off the topic of raider hate
but kctv just had a thing about a flag rescued from 9/11 that was stitched back together using flags from all 50 states. it will be on display during the national anthem at arrowhead this sunday by NYFD I believe.
it would be cool if this story was posted in full
what just happened?

I agree Kray. We may have the best coaching staff in the NFL. The future is very bright for our young Chiefs. Both the immediate and long term.
