Chiefs @ DEN, Arrowhead Pride Represent
The NFL stadium tour is an annual tradition for my old college roommate and I. Every year, we visit a new city, see the Chiefs conquer a new stadium, and leave with a new experience. I highly recommend this particular life goal to anyone and everyone. Its a chance to visit places you might not otherwise prioritize, meet fans of other teams, and see the Chiefs notch another win.
This year, I travel to Denver. I'll be boarding a flight from L.A. and arriving in the Mile High city at 1:35 P.M. As I've come to notice in my experience on the NFL stadium tour, Chiefs fans travel well and represent throughout the country. I'm posting here to find out if any of my fellow APers are going to be in Denver for the game this weekend, to watch Jamaal Charles return to the field that he ran for 259 yards on to start this calendar year. This will be my first visit to Denver, and although I'll actually be staying with my old college roommate who just moved out there a few months ago, I just wanted to see if any APers are Denver locals and have any recommendations on what to do while there. Also wanted to give out my email address so that if any of you live in Denver or are gonna be in town for the game wanted to meet up at a local purveyor of alcoholic beverages on Saturday to drink, be merry, and celebrate the coming conquest of Invesco Field by the Chiefs. My email is kenneth.j.wood@gmail.com . Also, anyone who is not going but has been before or would like to discuss ideas for the game or the visit to Denver feel free to comment.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Arrowhead Pride's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Arrowhead Pride writers or editors.

hi, Mo! 5 minutes!!!
Should have picked Seattle
I think we’ve got quite the rowdy crowd headed to the northwest
I don’t comment on this site for the people that are against me and think that I can’t do it. I comment for the people that have always believed in me. I comment for my family, for my wife, for my mother so it really comes down to that.
...or as I call it
The Southwest.

Seattle was our original choice
But coming on Thanksgiving weekend, it was just undoable with all the family stuff going on. And since the old roommate ended up moving out to Denver in June, we figured to just cross that one off the list while he’s there (only a year there before he moves back to California). Really wanted to do Seattle, its a city that I’ve wanted to visit for awhile and a stadium that looks pretty sweet. When we do Seattle though, we already agreed that we’ll do a road trip from Northern California, through Oregon, to Seattle, and maybe even head into BC afterwards. Couldn’t manage that week long adventure with the Thanksgiving week going on.

you jest never, ever EVER want to DRIVE in Seattle ... or anywhere within 20 miles of it
atrocious traffic … can’t really even bypass it in the daytime w/o getting stalled for an hour

Cal bout to get smoked like an Oregon blueberry blunt!
Ducks will be rolling deep into Berkeley this week. Ya’ll better hope you can get that axe vs Stanfurd, cause I dont think you’ll be pulling a miracle this week
I'd rather be a free man in my grave than living as a puppet or a slave
Cal made a critical mistake
his name is Clancy Pendergast. Its been a rough season.

How the hell is he still in football?
Next thing you are going to tell me Greg Robinson is still a D-Coordinator.

He is
D-Coordinator for Michigan. Saw that last week and couldn’t believe it
Positive Yards! I've been sayin it for years.
Ya I know, I was being an ass.
The very same Michigan defense that gave up 65 points to the Illinois powerhouse.

Sudden, I've been in Denver for about 10 yrs (off and on) ... sadly no tickets to the game
I will say this: avoid anything here that says BBQ … these people have no clue what BBQ is or should be …
about a mile from the stadium, across the highway and withing walking distance is the Pepsi Center and a few places along and near Speer Ave that you could hit … not far from there is something called the 16th Street Mall … sort of like Westport only bigger … downtown shops, bars, eateries by the dozen, funky-cool area … hit it if you can!
if you’re in town more than just gameday, go ahead and email me – upamtn@comcast.net – and whatever happens, do enjoy the game and bring back a winner (of note: Broncos fans are way cooler than Raiders of Eagles fans)

hi, Mo! 5 minutes!!!
I'll be in town from Friday afternoon through Monday night
Planning on hitting the local pubs on Saturday for some college football gamedays, so if you’re interested in getting smashed with complete strangers whom have an interest in the same NFL franchise, you’re more than welcome to join.

I'll be there
I’ll be at the game. Plan on startin my tailgating around 11. I’m in the Co Springs area…grew up in KC and now stationed out here. Agreed on the BBQ part, they don’t know what good BBQ is. I miss Jack Stack. I can be reached at tlback20@hotmail.com if anyone is interested in tailgating together. My wife, her sis and sis’s husband will be there as well. They’re all Bronco fans so I need some others to cheer with.
I'll be there
I’ll have field passes but I’m having to be at several corp tailgate parties before hand. They are bringin me around since I’m the “Chiefs guy”. I’ll be surrounded by donks fans bleh. I may grow out my neckbeard we’ll see.
That was me last year.
Went with my brother in law who wanted to take the bus. I was the only Chiefs guy sitting on a bus with 50 people dressed in Bronco’s gear and about 3 in regular street clothes.
Was there last year
Wish I could have gone again this year. I was amazed by Chiefs fans again (I really shouldn’t be). Coming in to support a team that had only won 3 games and the fans showed up big time there. Last years game was a treat, wish I could be there again.
