Flex Scheduling (Chiefs vs Chargers)
Just as the six major college football conferences have done for many years, the NFL will have the flexibility to move the start times of games on Sundays, using a 12-day notice format.
For example, a game scheduled for a Sunday could move from a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff to an 8:15 p.m. start, but the change would be made and announced no later than the prior Tuesday, 12 days prior.
So if I'm interpreting this correctly, the decision will have to come this Tuesday and we will know by Wednesday if the Chiefs at Chargers game will be flexed to Sunday Night Football on NBC for December 12th.
Currently the game scheduled is Philadelphia at Dallas. Another Cowboys game on prime time? NBC is drooling.

The problem will be....
Vick. Everybody wants to see Vick play – I hope the Chiefs get flexed in but I doubt they pull Vick off of prime time.
I think we have a huge shot of being flexed.
This game could ultimately decide the winner of the AFC West and the Cowboys are out of the race for the division. I know everyone wants to see Vick but I think more people would like to watch a game with playoff meaning.

I sure hope they recognize that while the Cowboys do have a national following, they simply aren’t going to the playoffs. Chiefs-Chargers is basically a division championship game, how could they not? I’m so tired of Dallas and QB Dog Killa.

but it’s for the weak AFC West (weak being the national media’s term not necessarily mine)

I don't think we want it flexed...
Since its on the road, night games are always more hyped and the crowd more amped. This would give the Chargers fans a reason to come to the game.
I call Sunday night football the NFC East showcase.
Im so sick of seeing those same teams playing.

As much as I would like the game to be flexed....
….I dont see our game being moved to the evening. The only flexing we will be seeing is our Chiefs flexing there muscles in the end zone after each touchdown!
