We've got some interesting news here. Adam Caplan of FOXSports.com reports that the Kansas City Chiefs worked out free agent CB Tye Hill earlier this week. The timing becomes interesting because CB Brandon Flowers did not practice on Wednesday because of an injury.
Is this an indication Flowers can't go on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks?
We're not quite sure yet. It could just be the Chiefs doing their due diligence in the instance Flowers (or someone down the line) can't play.
Hill is actually an interesting story because he was a 2006 first round pick by the St. Louis Rams before getting traded to the Atlanta Falcons for just a seventh round pick. He later signed with the Tennessee Titans before being released during final cut downs this year.
I imagine we'll be keeping a close eye on Flowers' status throughout the week.
