I don't know if this is ok, but if it is I'm declaring that THIS should be the dedicated thread to all things Matt Cassel this week. I don't think I can take a week of 50,000 threads dedicated to "Matt SUX!!1" or "OMG MATT DUZNT SUK!".
So flame him, praise him, debate him, give him your firstborn child, but do it HERE!
(If this is stupid, just flame me and delete this thread, I'll try not to cry in front of everyone.)

Now for my take, just because I would feel like a total douche for making this thread and not having something to add to it. Matt Cassel was terrific for the most part today. He did everything in his power to bring us back, but he wasn't flawless. He needs to learn to get rid of the ball quicker. He also needs to learn when to throw it away. He was very accurate today, and his timing with his receivers was dead on, which is something we're not used to. He made a couple of difficult throws, and many times he looked very poised in the pocket. His footwork was (mostly) sound, and he didn't look like a pissed off high school quarterback. That said, this loss was a TEAM effort, and Matt isn't excluded. The coaches and players alike will need to take heat for this one, because the Kansas City Chiefs were NOT ready. That said, one positive we can take out of this is that we saw that Matt is capable of throwing the damn football.
