Louis Murphy (bruised lung) said he hopes to be cleared by doctors to play in Week 9. Murphy admitted that the injury caused him to spit up blood, but he said he feels fine now. Raiders coach Tom Cable said last week that he expected Murphy to sit out "a couple of weeks," so it's still probably more likely that we'll see him return in Week 11 after the team's Week 10 bye.
