Up until now, plenty of people had the Bears as a top 5, even the top rated team overall in their power rankings.
The Bears are not a very good team, at least not on offense. They don't have a true #1 receiver and they don't have a very good running back in a league where a lot of teams have multiple #1 caliber backs (KC, AZ, MIA, NO, DEN). Their QB, who happens to be the most overrated passer in the game, is an interception machine. People love Jay cutler because he's big and could probably throw a ball through a brick wall. Cutler's problem is that he can only read a defense about as well as a brick wall. Put any pressure on him and it's an INT, or if he's lucky, a sack. I don't like Jay Cutler at all because he's cocky without cause and has the maturity level of a fetus. Seeing him torn apart by the giants was the most enjoyable part of my football weekend. My only regret is that he got knocked out with half of the game left.
After seeing Cutler and his bears absolutely DESTROYED by an woefully incoherent giants team, hopefully the wildly overrated bears will see their stock dropping. The Bears are a middle of the road team.
