Some huge game changing play ALWAYS happens in the 2nd half so that Gus can scream his head off.

And Buffalo doesn’t protect all that well.
The kinds of completions to Steve Johnson he was getting last week are the kinds of completions KC doesn’t give up, very often.

I think McDaniels has a shot at being a perennial winner.
I think the deal with Denver is they had more tearing-down to do to re-build in the new image. More guys they had to part ways with, who were earning fat checks than KC had. In a way, this slowed the re-build, even though they garnered more wins in the first year. I think if they ditch McDaniels right now, it won’t help them, much, especially if the NEXT guy has a different vision of how to build the offense.
I’d keep in mind that KC grabbed the 3-4 DE that McDaniels wanted, and Denver is behind KC in building that d front. Chiefs basically got a lot of their losing out of the way by scrapping the old right away. Also, going ZB, it appears that KC was more fortunate in getting quality vets inside on OL.

A little public prognostication
1. Eric Berry will force another turnover.
2. We will rush for between 150 and 200 yards.
3. Lee Evans will have 80-100 yards receiving and a TD, but most of that will be on one long play.
4. Matt Cassel will continue to impress with about 200 passing yards and 2 TDs. I’m thinking… one to Moeaki and one to Bowe.
5. Chiefs win 27-14.

One of the surprising things this year is just how well the KC D has defended guys like that.
Ryan Matthews was limited. Darren Sproles was pretty much contained. The only thing that scares me about Spiller is KC’s faith in their LBs covering the ‘backs in the pattern. That’s a mismatch you can point to.
I dont care how ugly it is...just get the win, go to 5-2...all of these "smells like an upset" predictions on other sites scare me.

Agreed, but he knows many of the players, their abilities and their tendencies.
Gailey, Weis, they’ve both been around long enough where they’ve pretty much seen it all. It’s going to boil down to player execution.

Gus Johnson and Steve Tasker
Are completely inept at announcing football games. There have been about 5 things worth mentioning this game that they haven’t even made a comment about. Bad snap on that punt? PI on Bowe’s potential touchdown? That running into the kicker penalty was evident during the play. Plus Gus Johnson’s ‘exciting’ voice is just annoying. Its not a monster truck rally you f-ing tool…so shut up.
