Eric Berry needs to be our Ray Lewis

I usually never blog and dont consider myself a talented writer.

I am always the optimist. Im always that guy on social networks that keeps it real. I always tell my friends that this team is good but not quite there yet. We're still building. We are in our second year so we're playing with house money this year. Any improvement and progress is just that.

My main concern is with our defense. Thats right, not the consistently inconsistent offense or the concerns for our franchise QB and backup caliber receivers. Our Romeo to the rescue defense. My concern isnt exactly our young secondary either. My concern is we dont have a stand up defensive leader. We needed someone to step up and say thats enough Houston. No more yards San Diego. We wont let you drive down the field and get into position to win this game.

Tamba Hali is always in beastmode.....quietly. Derrick Johnson is a freak athlete that doesn't say much. Brandon Flowers is a pro bowl corner that likes to let you know by showing you his performance. Shaun Smith is nasty..but not a leader..Eric Berry. You sir, need to be the leader of this defense and get this group hype. You need to be a little nasty. You need to step up as you're learning and be our emotional leader. We need one and it shows.

Today I was absolutely livid after we lost this game. I have not been this mad over a Chiefs loss in a few years. I was depressed and cursed at the other games on. Im trying to study for midterms and I cant concentrate. This game just got to me. It wasn't the fact that we lost or even that we lost two in a row. It was that for the second week we could have won so easily. That's a very good thing. The tradition is coming back. The town is behind the team..My Chiefs tattoo across my heart....will always be there.
