Chiefs Injury Report: Chris Chambers, Kendrick Lewis Are Questionable
In addition to Tyson Jackson and Ryan O'Callaghan being out questionable, the Kansas City Chiefs have two new members of the injury report today: WR Chris Chambers and S Kendrick Lewis.
Chambers is listed as questionable for this weekend's game against the Houston Texans. He apparently has a finger injury but he fully practiced today according to the Chiefs injury report.
Kendrick Lewis is listed as questionable with a hamstring injury. Both players were not in the injury reports from Wednesday and Thursday and both have a 50/50 shot of playing on Sunday against the Texans.
Dustin Colquitt is still having trouble with an illness but he should be fine for Sunday. Reshard Langford and his ankle injury kept him out of practice all week. It's highly unlikely he plays on special teams or at all come Sunday.
We'll scrounge up more info on Chris Chambers' injury and Kendrick Lewis' injury when we find it.

they r keeping both out because we don't really need them.
we r doing okay without the so no need to rush…especially with Jackson.

I thought the last report said Jackson and OCal practiced full participation?
"Success is never ending, failure is never final."
Jackson and Callaghan are not out
They are listed as questionable and had full practice today.
Huh?
In addition to Tyson Jackson and Ryan O’Callaghan being out
I’ve thought all year long that Chambers is questionable…
you beat me to it Tarkus
Playoffs are a REAL possibility in 2010...just need few tweeks here and there.

Really...
I hope an injured finger won’t keep him from being a factor in the game.
Chiefs will. But...will Cassel?
10 + wins in 2010. Chiefs SHOCK the NFL!!! Mark it down.
must have snapped a finger off from..
Cassels, laser rocket arm

that is obviously bowes problems...
turns out, he’s missing all his fingers. he wears gloves to cover the problem so that nobody will notice. it’s all starting to make sense.

i think someone should start a post...
arguing that we should cut cassel because of his laser rocket arm and all the damage it is doing to our receivers.

lol good one.
Maybe this is a good thing, i hope who ever plays at his spot steps up. Maybe it would be a good time for Urban.

Oh man you're right grrrrrrrrrr
That sucks, i hope who ever it is takes Chambers spot for the season. We need to change it up some at wide-out, and maybe Bowe will pull his head out of his ass.

I think Chambers is done after this year.
I would guess they’ll bring in at least a couple new guys. But unlike the Horne homers, I’m not impressed with one catch in the preseason. I would love to see him be a pleasant surprise, but I’m not holding my breath.
Heck Copper might be the man.
That dude 110% every play, on ST’s or coming in and blocking on running plays. I say let the man catch some balls (no homo).

Horne would be good too.
For some reason i just have a feeling that this kid can play, if giving the chance now. How could it hurt our passing game at this point, i say give everyone a shot.

i would rather see Horne get more of a look than copper
Maybe thats just because he’s younger tho
It will most likely be copper who gets the boost in playing time because of how hard he works on special teams.
HAVE NO FEAR #11 IS HERE!
Chief fans this is no more than the perfect opportunity for Haley to give what you all will come to find out, is one of the best young WR in the nfl, he is already on the roster. Jeremy Horne will emerge sometime in the next couple of games as the deep threat to go along with all the other young players that the Chiefs have that will complete the picture for the future of the franchise. Bowe or Chambers must step aside. #11 IS HERE!
Thats a shame
We are gonna miss hes >2 catches and >20 yards a game

Cassel: 23-35 362yds 4TDs
I wouldn’t be more surprised if I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet.
I say start Horne and Copper this week
cuz Bowe is obviously never gunna learn how to catch the ball and who knows what the hell Chambers has been doing this year

Can't be much worse than the tandem we have right now
"2010: The year Mizzou gets over the hump. The year the Chiefs show the NFL that they're back. And the year Dayton Moore signs some washed up has been or never was to return us to the glory of the Royals not losing 100 in 2011."
Can they
pave roads with their blocking 20 yards downfield like Bowe does in the running game? He’s usually a big part of all those Jamal breakaways.

Copper come in a lot on running plays, so i do believe that he could do as well as Bowe.
I want a #1 that can catch also, not just block.

Chambers doesnt matter
because cassel doesnt trow to WRs anyway.
also, nothing says “run play” like terrance copper split wide
