The Kansas City Chiefs have already beaten the San Diego Chargers once. That came without the Chargers WR Vincent Jackson, who has yet to sign his restricted free agent tender.
He's their No. 1 receiver (maybe outside of TE Antonio Gates) and his absence likely helped the Chiefs propel to victory.
So what about the next time the Chiefs and Charger play in Week 14?
Jackson could be back.
ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Jackson will report to the Chargers by Oct. 31 giving him plenty of time to serve his three-game suspension upon his return and face the Chiefs on Dec. 12.
Their passing game would be much, much improved if Jackson were there.
For once this season, things don't fall the Chiefs way.
