DaJuan Morgan Released By The Colts Hours Before Chiefs Game
Here's a shocker: DaJuan Morgan was released by the Indianapolis Colts.
The Kansas City Chiefs drafted Morgan in 2008 and released him a little over a month ago in the first week of September.
The Colts had their top two safeties out -- Bob Sanders and Melvin Bullitt.
The Colts said throughout the week that Morgan would likely see more playing time against the Chiefs. Chiefs head coach Todd Haley suggested that it's possible they would target players they're familiar with, such as Morgan.
Josh Looney of KCChiefs.com says that the Indy media were clearly surprised by the release considering he was featured on some of the local pre-game shows.
Maybe some trickery from the Colts this week.

haha
They realized that he didn’t know anything about the offense and was only good for special teams or, maybe he wouldn’t roll over on flowers and carr. He said they were like family to him…
WTF
How do ya feel DeJuan Morgan?
Can we be the AFC West Champions in 2010. You better believe it

Probably an upgrade for the Colts
Hate to be mean, but that Colts secondary is a mess. And jabroni they pull off the street might be better than Morgan.
I played Safety in high school ;)

hi, Mo! 5 minutes!!!
Pump 'n' dump
Used him for the inside info, then ditched him.
Either that, or they found out why WE cut him, and decided the guy off the street was the better option.
I hope he just didnt cut it, otherwise...how the heck could they have no interest in what he can do when they just lost bullitt/sanders
