And showing old coaches the door!

Ask him how soon could we start expecting moves to start the Chiefs offseason?

Still evaluating

Offense is ahead of the defense in terms of evaluation because he was the OC…no timeline on picking coaches.

is it a dickie, or a full turtleneck?

* "I doubt anyone will miss Connor Barth except UCrawford"
* the LB corps may become the biggest strength of the Chiefs in 2009
* The OL is NOT as bad as you think it is... give it time, and you'll see improvement this season

If it is his Dickie ...

I’d prefer he kept it tucked away under his clothing and out of view.

by JacinB on Jan 6, 2010 11:44 AM CST up reply actions

Can he at least put a darker sweater over his dickie?

by Justin Bopp on Jan 6, 2010 11:45 AM CST up reply actions

I remember Marty wearing the white turtlenecks at almost every game.

My long, drawn-out predictions that no one cares about, nor will bother to remember:

1. Todd Haley will still be the Chiefs Head Coach up to the 2011 season.
2. Clancy Pendergast won't make it to the 2010 season and was never intended to. Last-minute hire for a position that needed to be filled.
3. Todd Haley will not be the OC at the start of the 2010 season.

What's June Cleaver's maiden name?

Pretty much the ultimate trivia question.
--

As for the real thing, I’d like for him to illuminate us on why it took so long to move forward on Jamaal Charles. Despite the fumbles, I have to think he showed in practice that he’s the superior back.

by GonzosDirtyTrailer on Jan 6, 2010 11:38 AM CST reply actions

and to elaborate on the fumbling

did he do anything special in practice to deal with the issue because it seemed the more he touched the ball the less he fumbled as the year went on. Or was it just a lack of concentration because he wasn’t involved in the gameplan so to speak.

That kind of implies that Scott has, I think.

Is Scott there? Isnt the GM usually present at the year-end things? I knew Carl was, but, of course things are different now.

Have found some “Core Players” but not limited to starters. Obvious “Core” players Haley listed: Jamaal Charles, Hali, Dorsey, Flowers, Offensive line (as a group), and Bowe.

Made comments about each individual, but emphasized that all MUST continue to take steps forward this off season. Puts emphasis really on not going backwards, especially for Bowe.

“Developing” guys include Lawrence and Croyle.

Yeah, had some really nice things to say about Q-Law and Brodie.

Now saying that TJ has to bust his ass this offseason.

good, he seems like the type that WILL fight hard this offseason to get better

Haley is the right coach who just needs good people around him, much like Cassel
Vince Wilfork will be Scott Pioli's top offseason priority and will be a Chief.

Has he said anything on Chambers?

Theres NO way this guy doesn’t deserve to be here more than Wade, Copper, and Lawrence

Not yet. But he said there were many other guys than the specific ones he mentioned

He has been talking in detail.

He went through a LOT of players. He just got to the end and said that he knew he was forgetting some, just didn’t want to keep going on each individual.

I agree he made big plays, he also had a few big drops in key situations

and some key penalties…

but yeah wade and lawrence did not show much more, however Copper is a good ST player.

Of all of the previous jobs he's had in the NFL...

What memory or memories will Haley take with him into the offseason and into next year.

What was the the difficult part for Haley to adjust as a HC in year 1.

Is Haley himself going to be going to the east west shrine game and the senior bowl etc?
