With the season over there will be mass speculation on who will be wearing an arrowhead next year and who won't. I think there are very few players on this team that one, have value, and two, are ones we want to trade. I think there are three players on our roster that could yield us more draft picks, which I believe is extremely important. I think this draft is tailer made to our needs and is extremely deep. That means rounds 4 to 6 are still going be juicy and offer quality players. These are the three guys I think we might move in the offseason and my guess as to their value.
Derrick Johnson
I know he will be a free agent come March, but I'm 95% sure that a new CBA will not be agreed upon, meaning Johnson will be a restricted free agent and we will be able to put a tender on him. If we do I think there are a lot of teams that would give a decent draft pick to obtain him. He is a former first rounder and teams might see his potential and believe he will be a better fit in their system. I think he is worth a 4th to a 5th rounder.
Jarrad Page
Page has been a pretty solid safety for us the last 3 seasons and he will be a restricted free agent again if a new CBA isn't agreed upon. I think we tender him and I could see a lot of teams wanting his service. Maybe the Lions or Texans would be interested since they have connections with Page and have a need at FS. I think Page is worth a 4th rounder.
Brian Waters
Waters is declining in play and will be a free agent after next season. He is the most proven player out of these three, but his value is down because of his age. A lot will prefer to draft younger talent than give up draft picks for an aging guard. However, I think there could be suitors who are not in rebuild mode looking for an immediate impact on their offensive line. I think Brian is worth a 6th rounder at this point. It might be more valuable to keep him on considering how bad our offensive line has been.
