Who agree's with me now about Jamaal Charles?? He's awesome!!

We just might have the best back in the NFL?? I put a post up last week screaming that he was potentially the best back in the NFL. He has barely begun his reign of terror. I swear he is a clone Chris Johnson and maybe even better. He has no line to compare with the Titans line. And yet he makes it happen always. Don't you just love it Chiefs fans?? He is our amazing super star for sure. There is no doubt that he is a hero for the Chiefs. The likes of which this organization has NEVER seen before.

Every time he get's the ball he is a potential highlight. I do not think we even realize or anyone else in the NFL truly realizes what we have here in him. He is off the hook. Week in and week out. Just imagine...IMAGINE next year if they get a Center from hell and beef up his line? We are going to rock baby!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry this is just an emotional post with a few minutes left in the game it's 44 -  24 right now. I do not know the end score of yardage yet. I can't wait to see his final stats. Let's go Chiefs!!

Chiefs still...

…need larger back to give him a blow. Like tennesee has with Johnson and White.Defense wins titles not offense. If anyone knows that it’s Chiefs fans.WE NEED TO LOAD UP ON DEFENSE! Because we suck.

Does anybody besides me see the potential for this team?

If we just don’t blow it ourselves we would have won possibly 7 games. Really IMO with the exception of 2 games this year, we could have won if we didn’t get flags after a 35 yard run. If we just didn’t get a fumble. If a snap didn’t go 100 miles over the punters head. IF the ball didn’t go long distance past the QB’s head. Just mental errors are what kill us constantly.

If we can just get a litte better O line and a solid hardcore defense we can be awesome. There are just a few pieces of the puzzle out of place. But this is improvement. This is better than anything we’ve done in 3 years here. Just knowing we CAN if we try harder and play a little smarter is encouraging.

We have something to work with it seems. GO CHIEFS!!! HELL YA!!! I’m so proud of our guys.!!!!!!!! I love it!!

and just think

we could have even made the playoffs with Tony Gonzalez also. All those damn drops hurt us so bad

by focs on Jan 3, 2010 6:42 PM CST up reply actions

I am with you Kray

If we have a great draft & get a couple of FAs, the Chiefs could make a huge jump next year. They have to get better on defense in several positions, and one or two offensive lineman. Add to that continued improvement in our current players and we are a factor again.

by Chief1 on Jan 3, 2010 7:30 PM CST up reply actions

NO!

IF we could play defense we would be great.

Jamaal Charles is better than Chris Johnson

Chris just had the opportunity since day 1 this year.
Jamaal will have more rushing yards than Chris next year.

I'm with Nick.

JC got really banged up for 9 games. We need a large short yardage back.JC can’t handle 30 carries a game.

Damn Haley

i really wish haley would have let charles play that last drive so he could have potentially broke the NFL rushing record..Charles was on 36 yards away fromt the record. All in all great game and really starting to like this charles guy looks like we got a keeper.

hey guys

Great game for the Chiefs, and a great way to end the season. J.C was great tonight, man that dude can run the ball. I wondered if he could hold up to the beatings at first, but he seems to be able to not take the big hits. Our o-line looked pretty good tonight as a whole, and i don’t think they need as much help as i once thought. Carr is the only player that didnt have a good game, Belcher wasn’t to hot either. Team needs after watching the game are:
NT, WR, ILB, and Safety. Not in any order.

One more thing

Was Bowe in the game! Damn do we even need this guy or what? If we aren’t going to throw him the ball why have him?

by CPT.Caveman on Jan 3, 2010 7:06 PM CST up reply actions

We need someone for people to fear.

this way, it seems like we have more receiver threats when its really just Charles.

I was one that loved

JC right when we got him. He has 3 fumbles this year. Fumbles are never good but AP has 7 and 20 over 3 years. Emmit Smith had a ton of fumbles in his career. So did Barry Sanders.

Another thing

Are the ref’s out to make us lose games? Again another week of bad calls. Not enough contact for pass interference Come on man. I s that some rule they make up for us?

by CPT.Caveman on Jan 3, 2010 7:16 PM CST reply actions

Yeah...

Not enough contact? haha I can see that on official review on NFL Network Total Access this week. haha

WOW!!!

I just got in from a road trip and I can’t believe my eyes looking at the game recap……JC is the f’ing truth and there is no doubt he is in contention for being the top RB in the league. I am so freaking excited for what 2010 will bring with an infusion of talent via draft and FA. We should all be proud of what just happened today.

What a perfect way to end this season. My hats off to all of us on AP that didn’t give up this year. We will be a force in the near future………..wow.

by Hail2DaChiefs on Jan 3, 2010 8:16 PM CST reply actions

Damn right Kray.......

I’m tired as hell, but I’m gonna dig into a six pack and enjoy this one my friend………We are witnessing the beginning of something special brewing in KC. I’m just glad we kept our heads up during what was a tough season to watch. A couple of additions to the coaching staff and the roster this offseason and we will be drinking spiked Kool-Aid for years to come…….

The kid is a baller

Let’s see if he keeps his ego in check and carries it over to the next few years. He certainly has what it takes to be great.
