It's Our Fault

Fortunately and unfortunately Arrowhead stadium may be the greatest sporting venue ever created by human beings. It's the shape and more specifically the seating arrangements. It's designed perfectly for Football. No where ells are so many packed so close together, and that close to the field. And when the stadium is full and the fans are screaming passionately it creates a distinct advantage to the home team. So much so that I believe when Arrowhead is actually sold out it give us 2 home wins a year we didn't really deserve, and that's our problem.

In essence, what I'm saying is that for years I've felt like we couldn't properly build our team. During most of the Carl Peterson era we won a couple of games a year we shouldn't have won, because of us the fans and the stadium. And we thought we were better than we really were, but were this hurt the team badly was we drafted lower than we should have (based on our talent) to properly imporve and build the team. Years of this depleted the talent of the team. Think about how far you could potentially move up in every round of the draft if we lost 2 more games in some of those years we didn't really win anything anyway. Almost every draft I can remember watching during the Carl Peterson era we had 2 division rivals drafting ahead of us and apparently had better evaluators of talnet too. Not to mention they all made it to the superbowl including the seahawks.

Now it's our turn and if you can't believe we have the right people running the show now. Then who would you rather have trying to rebuild this team? I know some of you will tear down my post detail by detail, but I've felt this way for years and thought the idea should be out there.
