Former Chiefs QB Coach Working With Sam Bradford
Remember Terry Shea? He was the Kansas City Chiefs quarterbacks coach from 2001-03 and then again in 2005 until Herm Edwards relieved him of his duties in January of 2007. He was there for the rise of the Chiefs offense under Dick Vermeil, as well as the rise of Trent Green.
Shea was last seen working with Matthew Stafford and Josh Freeman before last April's draft. Both of those guys were first round picks.
Starting on Monday, Shea will work with Sam Bradford to prepare him for April's draft, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports.
He definitely has his work cut out for him as Bradford recovers from a shoulder injury that sidelined him for much of the season.
As of this moment, Shea is not with a NFL team. He's previously weighed in on the progress of Todd Haley and Matt Cassel with the Chiefs.
Charlie Weis will definitely benefit Cassel but, if he weren't there, Shea would be a prime candidate since he did pretty well with another Chiefs quarterback.

We definately need a QB coach
I say the more coaches the better….
The problem with Shea is that he is not connected to Haley or Weis unless I may be wrong.
If anyone I would say Weis would bring in his QB coach from ND

We could use a QB coach
This administration likes to distance themselves from the past administration. I would be surprised if they would hire Shea. I also believe they like coaches their connected to.
Thats to bad because Shea and Jim Zorn are good QB coaches.
Ron Powlus is the name I was looking for
He was the QB coach under Weis in ND. He knows Weis and they should be comfortable around each other. They should have the same vision in QB play.
Here is a good quote from Weis I just found from back at ND….
“Nothing pisses me off more than mental errors,” Weis told the offense Wednesday afternoon. “That’s an advantage we should have at this place. To have mental errors with people not knowing what to do is inexcusable. The party is over! You’re going to be held accountable. There is no excuse for mental errors. Zero. You got your ass whipped, I can live with it. Mental errors, I got zero tolerance.”

The greater the fall, the grander the ascention..
Give this guy a shot
The Chiefs should at least consider bringing him back as qb coach.
