Chiefs could be in perfect position to trade down from the #3 pick and what we could get.

First fanpost so hopefully everyone enjoys it.

The current first ten teams to pick are as follows:

Rams, Lions, Chiefs, Buccaneers, Redskins, Browns, Seahawks, Bills, Raiders, Broncos. If you assume that people operate on a combination of BPA and biggest team need i believe the Rams have to go Suh. Suh is as everyone says a once in a decade type of player. Completely unstoppable all season against all competition. Lions go Berry, McCoy, or Okung to fill their 3 biggest team needs. Their GM thinks that LT is at a good place so they probably go Berry. Now the fun part: the chiefs now have the #3 pick with the only Franchise QB prospect in this draft still on the board.

Looking at the next 6 teams picking all but the Bucs will be looking for a QB in this draft or free agency. Now i don't see us trading a pick for a potential franchise QB to a division rival so Oakland and Denver are presumably out. Of the remaining teams Seattle is the only one with two 1st round picks so i'd hope we would target them. The other teams would probably offer their 1st, 2nd, and 4th to move up and i think we would have to take it if offered. I am honestly not sure which of those 2 scenarios i would prefer 2 1st round picks could do so much for our franchise but we could really use the 2nd and 4th for interior lineman which you normally don't take in the 1st.

Thanks for reading, I had been thinking of Claussen being available for a while not sure i saw it in a Fanpost so figured it might spark some discussions.
