Around SBN: Jeremy Lin Sets Assist High In Easy Win Over Sacramento

Open Thread: NFL Divisional Playoffs (Saturday)

I can't tell you how excited I am to watch these games today. I love, love Saturday playoff football. It gets me excited and gives me a relaxed, calming feeling at the same time. How is that possible? I'm not sure but it's true.

We'll have two threads if need be. Here are the games today.

Check out your divisional round previews at SBNation.com. I'm taking the Ravens (because I hate the Colts and Peyton Manning) and the Cardinals (because Kurt Warner > Drew Brees).

Who ya got today?

I prefer opening weekend

Yeah

The Dallas/Minnesota game may be my favorite.

Do I want to talk to Romo or Favre after the Super Bowl? Hmm…

wouldn’t even be a question for me… Favre for sure

You better snap the effing ball Cassel.... Todd has beaten small children for less... Just ask Whitlock....

I'd go Romo

better chance you get him to say something outrageous.

I was at a grocery store today

And saw a stock guy wearing a Romo jersey. I thought to myself it would be hilarious if he the bottle of wine he was stocking slipped out of his hands.

I think the Ravens

have an outstanding shot to run the ball and shorten the game. I think they’ll out physical Indy for the win. I just can’t see Az winning a shootout with NO in the dome. I suspect that home crowd will get the Saints to the next round.

Zona coming in with a bit more momemtum

The Saint’s offense sputtered quite a bite down the stretch, and no post season QB is more accurate than Kurt Warner.

As for Ravens/Colts… that’s a lil harder to call. Yea, the Ravens could eat up a lot of clock on the ground, but the Colts have a better defensive front than the Pats, imo. The Ravens will have to rely more on Flacco, which could very well hurt them. Indy’s pass rush is pretty sick.

Lil harder to call, but Im going out on a limb to say this is the year Indy breaks the cycle and resting their starters pays off.

We know experience is important, but what about 2010 playoff experience?

After scoring 45 points (the offense) last week, they are coming in with tons of playoff experience…their players KNOW they can score in the playoffs.

After allowing just as many points last week against GB, the Defense may have a better understanding of what NOT to do.

The Saints haven’t scored a TD yet this postseason, all of this experience AZ gained last week will push them through once again

Especially for the mobile.

If a thread is really long you have to go to the top , refresh, then scroll way back down then repeat. Not complaining, cause it’s great…but that’s just a thought.

Press C to tab to new comments, Shift-C to tab backwards, X to mark as read, and Shift-A to mark all read.
The best: Z will simultaneously mark and tab forward, and R will reply to the comment that has focus.

Ladies and Gentlemen.

Prediction for '09: Chiefs are looking like a .500 team, especially considering Denver's inattention to D-Line, Chokeland's disarray, and a San Diego team that looks like it's on the decline. With a weak schedule, Chiefs steal a few and win between 7 and 9 games, and if .500 or better, will contend for supremacy in a weak division.

Prediction for '09: Chiefs are looking like a .500 team, especially considering Denver's inattention to D-Line, Chokeland's disarray, and a San Diego team that looks like it's on the decline.
