I know many people are hoping for Vince Wilfork in FA or Terrence Cody in the 2nd round, but there is also an option out there that may be a cheap alternative as well.
Shaun Rogers of the Browns is a guy that will probably be available via trade. He spent December on IR for the Browns, but there were whispers last offseason that he wanted out of Cleveland. The Browns backup NT is a kid out of Iowa State, and he played well in Rogers absence in December.
I think Rogers, who will be 31 when the 2010 season starts would be a great addition and would allow the Chiefs to draft one of the "sleeper" NT's in the 5th round and let him develop for a couple of seasons.
For those of you who think Rogers is too old, keep in mind that when the Patriots were winning their Super Bowls last decade, they were doing it with a couple of guys in Ted Washington and Keith Traylor who were in their mid-30's at the time.
