Chiefs CB Brandon Flowers Says 'Doc Did A Good Job' On Surgery

Again, we learn the value of Twitter.

On Monday, we heard through Brandon Flowers' Twitter page that he was headed down to Alabama to see a surgeon and determine whether or not he needed surgery. We assume it's for a shoulder that landed him on the injury report at various times throughout the season.

On Tuesday, we again heard from Flowers as he was heading into surgery.

Today, we heard from Mr. Flowers again who says the doctor did a good job on his surgery.

neva been in so much annoyin f****** pain....man these pills aint workn..im jus goin thru it..f surgery but doc did do a good job haha

For those that need Twitter translated: He's in a lot of pain, pain pills don't seem to be working, frustrated at the surgery but the doctor did a good job.

He did use 134 characters and only had 140 to work with.

He saved at least 10 characters with the spelling, and by leaving out puctuation.

It’s common practice to drop letters to stay below the 140 limit. He still communicated fairly effectively.

But I agree, signature lines are too long generally.

Texans unis were awesome.

We need to convert to grey facemasks, non-striped jerseys, and black cleats with the arrowhead on the helmet for next season and beyond. Looked way better.
