Demorrio Williams Says LJ Started Jawing First Last Week

Last week against the Cincinnati Bengals, RB Larry Johnson was tackled by Kansas City Chiefs LB Demorrio Williams and came up yelling at Williams, leading to a short shoving match.

Earlier this week LJ said, "I wouldn't have said anything, but he started talking first."

Williams says not so.

"I didn’t say anything to him," Williams said according to the Kansas City Star. "He was talking to me. I guess he was trying to get himself going. He tried to stiff-arm me, throw me down. It didn’t work, did it?"

It did not work.

LJ also said, "I love all those guys on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball," and, "We're all friends."

Williams essentially says "Uh, what?"

"It’s not like we talked on the phone, Wiliams said. "There was nothing between us when he was here."

How does someone get so far off track? This guy’s character has always been suspect, but he seems to fall deeper and deeper into the abyss. I pray this guy can someday understand being honest, respectful, and hardworking will take you much farther than acting or being a punk.

It was LJ that was raising up on Williams. You could see it after LJ got up he was putting his weight on Williams. He clearly started the whole thing. The Bengals coach did the right thing by benching 2.7.
