Preseason Rookie Meter: Not exactly a ringing endorsement of Tyson Jackson
We shouldn't read into this at all, but if we did, it would sort of suggest Pioli/Haley blew the pick. At least we've got a full season to prove this thing wrong.

I wouldn't take much stock in this.
Prime example is they mention Brian Cushing with the Texans but Connor Barwin has had a bigger preseason impact since Cushing has been hurt some. Hakeem Nicks was quiet until the last game of the preseason and now he is one of their impact picks?
Seems to me to be a re-hashing of the draft. Let’s see what the Rookies do in the regular season.

yeah...
and, Jackson isn’t going to be a high profile guy
if he plays well, the defense will play well, but he may never get the recognition.
same goes for Dorsey.
I think both will be VERY solid this year, and for many years to come
* "I doubt anyone will miss Connor Barth except UCrawford"
* the LB corps may become the biggest strength of the Chiefs in 2009
* The OL is NOT as bad as you think it is... give it time, and you'll see improvement this season

At least he wont get recognition...
until he is traded to the Raiders for a first round pick in 8 years.
Desperately hoping for Desperate Measures

Since when did Percy Harvin come in and make a huge impact?
I guess I’ve only seen two Vikings games so far but did I miss something?

lol
You didn’t miss anything. He made a few decent plays but other than that he didn’t seem to make much of an impact.

I know this much.
Our WHOLE defense looks better when Jackson is in there. He was a very good pick. I think he will end up being a better pick than Dorsey.

Yup. It's like he just swallows up the strong side.
Most people don’t see those things. They see the guy with the ball and maybe figure out who made the tackle when the last guy gets to his feet off the pile. But I misinterpret my share, so I’ll go easy. I agree with what you’re saying. That’s my impression, also.
No question. Otis Taylor should be in the Hall of Fame.
