21 New Chiefs on Roster !
We have 11 New Offensive, 9 New Defensive, and 1 New Special Teams players on the roster, not including the practice squad.
Draft Picks: Tyson Jackson, Alex Magee, Donald Washington, , Quentin Lawrence, and Ryan Succop.
Traded For: Matt Cassel, Mike Vrabel, Andy Alleman, Ikechuku Ndukwe
Free Agents: Pierre Walters, Corey Mays, Mike Brown, Monty Beisel, Sean Ryan, , Matt Gutierrez, Mike Goff, Bobby Engram, Terrence Copper
Folks, that is a huge change-over : QB, TE, WR, OL, DL, LB, DB, K - and All Improved!
We are a better team now than at anytime last year. The Defense has made great strides and I'm confident that the Offense will soon follow. It still can't be overlooked that we did have a pretty good draft the year before as well. This season will be better than most think, just wait and see.

Well...
Folks, that is a huge change-over : QB, TE, WR, OL, DL, LB, DB, K – and All Improved!
Not improved at TE, but I agree the team is much better.
21 changes
I would say that our defense appears to be much better. It remains to be seen if we can get a pass rush.
As for the offense, it will be a work in progress. Much depends upon how the offensive lines functions.
McCallaghan would seem to be an upgrade. We shall see.
Welcome to AP katyvince
just a question is that like a Sybel name or what.
We welcome all including bi-polar and transgender but katyvince :)
Let's Kick some ASS in 09 or Die trying
We can get a pass rush.
That much is already clear.
What’s not clear is what we’ll start the season with on the right side. Will there be a guy who can run-block AND pass-block at that ROT spot in Game 1? For all i know, we might see more than our share of situational RT substitutions. I still don’t quite see the complete right tackle in-house, just yet.
No question. Otis Taylor should be in the Hall of Fame.
Will be hard to win the Division with 21+ newbies but
we didn’t win it last year so…
Let's Kick some ASS in 09 or Die trying
you forgot the biggest improments

Thats right!
If you include the new assistants & scouts & office personnel, there have been wholesale changes to the Chiefs organization!
The real improvement is in W-L.
And much as I like the new guys, so far, if they’re not winners, I won’t rank ’em any higher than the previous bunch.
No question. Otis Taylor should be in the Hall of Fame.
Read on Bill Williamsons blog...
That the league average is 15 player changers and that Detroit led the league with 31 changes followed by denver with 28.
"Success is never ending, failure is never final."
more than personnel
it’s about mentality, attitude and disipline, but i also agree we are a much better team than last year, and we’ll get better as the year goes on.
I disagree...
you give me 22 guys with the talent of TO and they can be as malcontent as they’d like and they’ll still win a super bowl. Screw attitude and discipline…. TALENT wins football games.
could you imagine a team full of TO's
you would have every WR,TE and RB complaining about not getting the ball.
And on defense every player would miss his assignment because he would be going where ever the ball was because he wanted the glory. It would be chaos.
Herm is gone things are better with that one move!!
