Around SBN: NHL Trade Rumors: Do You Make A Move For Rick Nash?

To give you an idea what Haley is looking for from a WR, Haley told me last night that Keyshawn Johnson is the best he's ever coached.

Understandable...

Larry Fitzgerald and Anquain Bolden are chumps

except the dry humor can get so dry

that you cant differentiate.

Personally I hate all the “REALLY!?” or “YOU CANT BE SERIOUS!?” confusion.

I've hurt people's feelings unintentionally by being too dry.

I think it’s a good tool for people like me. But I understand KCS’s sentiment.

No question. Otis Taylor should be in the Hall of Fame.

Keyshawn would catch the ball in traffic, but better than Fitzgerald!? hmmmm

by JohnNdallas on Sep 4, 2009 12:51 PM CDT reply actions

he's all about

blocking, toughness, catches in traffic, consistency.

yeah, I’ll buy that

* "I doubt anyone will miss Connor Barth except UCrawford"
* the LB corps may become the biggest strength of the Chiefs in 2009
* The OL is NOT as bad as you think it is... give it time, and you'll see improvement this season

Its not only about catching the ball.

He wants tough WR who do all the little things right like making the tough catches being consistent and run blocking.

Guys like Mark Bradley who probably earned his way back

To comfortably being a starter with his great blocking last night.

Well

I dont think hes scared of hurting anyones feelings lol

by tomahawk44 on Sep 4, 2009 1:53 PM CDT up reply actions

Yep

Not his first concern

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes; after that, who cares?! He's a mile away and you've got his shoes!

thats crazy

Key had great hands and was very competitive – also was physical – no doubt in my mind haleys mind will change once fitzy retires – but still – I think dwayne bowe can be better than key. IMO

by CHIEFER on Sep 4, 2009 2:02 PM CDT via mobile reply actions

Haley might not be thinking clearly...

Key was a bit over rated as a wide receiver and probably would’ve played tight end if he wasn’t such a diva… i.e.: “Gimme the d*mn ball”.

are we

Dealing for boldin? How do you get that out of what haley said? Jus bc his opinion about key said that should we think were dealin for boldin? That would be awesome tho. I’d love boldin wearing 81 for us

by CHIEFER on Sep 4, 2009 2:33 PM CDT via mobile up reply actions

64 TD's in 11 years doesn't scream elite to me...

He was good, maybe even very good, but an elite WR gets more than 6 TD’s a year over the course of his career.
