The Kansas City Chiefs held practice today in preparation for Sunday's game against the New York Giants.  Here are a few notes.

New faces and the jersey numbers:

• TE Leonard Pope #45
• LB David Herron #52 (Gretz says #42)
• CB Mike Richardson #23 
• OT Chris Patrick #69

Injury Updates

• Derrick Johnson practiced in full pads this week after missing last week's game due to injury
• Dwayne Bowe did not pratice today instead riding a stationary bike in the rehab zone

Earlier in the week, Todd Haley said Bowe wasn't even close to playing last week.  He did, however, express some optimism that Derrick Johnson would be ready.  Bowe's injury is some sort of hamstring, which Haley indicate he did not want to linger further into the season so it's certainly a possibility that we won't see Bowe again this week.

The Chiefs official injury, where they'll designate the participation level of injured players, is due out sometime this afternoon.
