Open Thread #4: Chiefs Still Having Trouble Finishing Drives

The Kansas City Chiefs lead the St. Louis Rams by two points tonight, 9 to 7.

The good news is that kicker Ryan Succop is three for three on field goals. The bad news is that those field goals were a result of the Chiefs' inability to finish off drives close to the goal line.

The offensive line is still a big problem and it's really starting to bother me. I think we just have a collection of some very sub-par players on that line. No amount of coaching is going to help some of these guys.

The second half is just about to get under way. GOOOOOOO CHIEFS!

Ndukwe

Isn’t looking any better, true. But we need to come up with an answer to that problem elsewhere cuz its not on our roster.

lol

Croyle needs to make some plays and stop looking like a sack of potatoes on the pocket. The line is indeed horrible but he is the captain right now. Some of those hits he took he could have got out of it. Stop over and underthrowing the balls.

Cut Croyle some slack

he has been spending time splitting snaps with Thigpen who can’t throw an accurate ball. Every Croyle throw that was off by a hair…just imagine if Thigpen was throwing it.

DBowe should have caught the jumpball

He should have caught the fade too. The long corner route down the right sideline was slowed down by Charles screwing the route up downfield (or maybe Bowe screwed up the route?).

And Lelie… ugh. He should have at LEAST made a move. WTF.

yes, that's what I was saying

That INT doesn’t happen with brodie’s arm. Weak arm, locking into a WR

But yeah, all that Thiggy did last year (and I’m a huge supporter of him) but he’s been terrible this preseason. But so has Croyle lately.
