Four Chiefs Are Questionable

Four Kansas City Chiefs are listed as questionable on the team's final injury report.  Questionable means the player has about a 50-50 chance of playing.

  • WR Dwayne Bowe
  • TE Jake O'Connell
  • G Brian Waters
  • LB Derrick Johnson

Bowe's injury occurred within the last day and it's been classified as a leg.  He didn't practice on Thursday and we're not sure of his availability.

Waters was injured during last week's game against the Oakland Raiders but was only down for a few plays and returned.

Johnson has already ruled himself out for Sunday's game.

Two Chiefs are probable:

They'll both play.

For the Eagles, DeSean Jackson and Brian Westbrook have been listed as questionable.  Donovan McNabb and Kevin Curtis are doubtful.

It will really hurt us

If we lose Bowe. Our passing attack is starting to get respectable now with; Bowe, Wade, Bradley, and Engram.

D-Bowe, Waters, and DJ....

Man, that’s messed up! I think D-Bowe and Waters will play but, I hope they can perform good enough to help us get a win.

rembember, though

Waters came out of the game with an ankle injury, but went right back in and played fine.

He’ll be on the field as always.

Bowe… well, he said he’s fine, so I bet he plays.

DJ… he said he wasn’t going to play, but Haley said he might… that’ll be interesting :)

* The OL is NOT as bad as you think it is... give it time, and you'll see improvement this season

Agree on all.

I am worried about Waters’s ankle though.

I had a really bad ankle sprain once and it wasn’t all that bad at first because I could walk on it, and even hobbled my way through the game (New Years Eve football with friends). When I woke up New Years day, it was waaay worse.

Cantaloupe? More like wontaloupe. Lazy ass melons.

The right side of the OL is questionable ...

ohhhhhhhhhh you mean INJURIES! never mind …

DJ will never be first string again if he doesn't learn.

You don’t say that you won’t play until you have too. I bet Haley got on him about that.
Waters and Bowe will play and Cassel with a game and full week of practice will be on fire Sunday.

Cassel has something to prove 3TD's against Eagles

Wait

So DJ said he was out but they are listing him as questionable?

Perhaps he improved earlier than expected? This is a good thing, no?

D-Bowe, Mark Bradley, Bobby Engram and Turtle. Four Chiefs WRers. 4 Pro Bowlers.

maybe...

like bbtg says above… he probably shouldn’t have said he wasn’t going to play.

Haley said he’s a maybe…

i got an idea

put the whole team as questionable so no one we play knows whos gonna play …..hahahaha try to plan for us

by redmedicone on Sep 25, 2009 4:24 PM CDT reply actions

I know you are joking

But I believe the NFL has rules against such activities. I believe Bellichick is the cause of this rules because players he listed as questionable and doubtful would be playing way too often.

Westbrook

There will be headlines when Westbrook comes off the injuy list, But he always seems to play. Wonder how Ried get away with that.

hes had a ton of instances

where he misses practice for the whole week then plays and turns in a solid game with plenty of touches….then its right back to missing practice

by Bashman on Sep 25, 2009 5:12 PM CDT up reply actions

when you do that once

and you’re a beast. you’re much more likely to get away with it. but the NFL can’t really say anything if the player misses a practice.
