The Great Gonz.
Gonzo has 12 catches for two touchdowns. Last season, the Falcons had 19 catches for two TDs from the tight end spot all season. Meanwhile, in Kansas City, where Gonzalez labored for 12 seasons, the Chiefs have just two catches from the tight end spot and have yet to win.

How's this for a positive outlook
1/3 of all our offensive TDs have been scored by our TE.
The Good: Moved the ball some, stopped the run
The Bad: penalties and not getting a FG before halftime
The Ugly: losing to J. Russel who couldn't hit the broad side of a barn from five yards away

Im happy
for him, but Im also happy that we were able to get a 2nd rounder for him. I believe he will still put out Tony numbers this year, but after next he slowly start to decline. I think we made the right move for the future.
Although I bet no one thought it would be one of our more trouble areas. Obviously we wont see the catches he put up but I didnt think we would still be looking for a TE.
Great players dont win championships.....Great TEAMS win championships

I agree it was a good think for our future
But only if the guy we pick with that second rounder isn’t a bust.
I just miss Tony. That guy was a staple of the Kansas City Chiefs. I know he didn’t want to be here. Tony wanted to be on a winning team, and given his age I don’t blame him, but selfishly I wish we didn’t trade him. It doesn’t help us this year, and probably won’t much next year….and It might not ever, once again, if the pick is a bust.
We beat the Raiders sunday if we still had Tony, IMO.

Yep, I agree.
I didn’t want to say it, because I don’t like rehashing games.
I didn’t like the trade then, hate it now.

The entire sports media treats the Chiefs like a joke...
…no point getting upset, you just have to wear it until you prove them wrong on the field. ESPN, Gretz, Whitlock, Peter King; no use getting mad at them. They have no bearing on the product shut them up with your performance on the field and in the front office.

Whitlock has never and will never be pro Chiefs
He will always find something to complain about.
Cassel has something to prove 3TD's against Eagles

I miss him so much...
Watching the highlights it was infuriating to hear the radio guys acting like Tony is their guy….calling him Touchdown Tony and dumb crap like that…That got me worse than anything…
