Not a lot out there today. Enjoy.
Matt Cassel will go for the Chiefs. The situation is murkier for the Eagles. Donovan McNabb, recovering from a broken rib, did not practice Wednesday, leaving Kevin Kolb as the likely starter against the Chiefs. Kolb started last week’s game and threw for 391 yards in Philadelphia’s loss to New Orleans.
"If you are assignment sound, then there’s no big deal," said Vrabel. "It gives you different looks back there and there are some adjustments you have to make. For teams that can run it effectively, it’s a good change up for them." Ultimately the trait that makes the Wildcat successful is that it forces the defense to think first, rather than react. That’s what makes the prep so important for the defense.

"I think he can really throw the football," Haley said. "I think that was obvious last week. Even last year, when we (Arizona Cardinals) were going in there, there was a little question in one of those early games whether (QB) Donovan (McNabb) would play or not. I know there was a fear of if this other guy gets in, he’s pretty darn good too. He’s a talented guy that obviously has been taking his time learning from the guy in front of him and understands the offense and the tempo with which they want to run it and does a good job of executing it a far as I can tell."
