Ryan Wendell and Martin Rucker

Pats waived C Ryan Wendell and Browns waived Martin Rucker.

Just an update. I hope we claim both.

I think Rucker can be solid as a receiving only TE...maybe play him in the slot on 4 WR.

Wendell was an academic all american for Fresno State and showed enough promise to make there opening day roster and can play Guard and Center...Pioli signed him as an undrafted player last year for the Pats.

Updating the bottom half of the 53 (cut Copper and Wade Smith) as a suggestion.

Thoughts or anyone have any info on what happened to Rucker I thought he was a stud at MU other than the lack of blocking skills.

Not another tight end

Don’t know about the center, but I don’t really believe there are that many upgrades still available or coming available. There may be one or two, but other teams don’t dump a player for no reason.

The Chiefs had tandem TE's in the Houston Oilers upset playoff game.

Keith Cash and someone else. I think one was a Blocker and one was a Catcher.
The Chiefs could use some two TE sets and Rucker was a Man-Beast after the Catch.
If it was me I would love to get cut by Cleveland. He might end up in St. Louis though :(

We had a great tight end tandem in Gonzalez, and Jason Dunn.

That was a damn dominant offense!

We have to run the gauntlet over the next few weeks, we will be better for it. Pioli is not done with the roster, he will improve it. LJ is getting ready to start whining again.

Rucker on Philly’s PS
