First off, I need to come clean about something. About 6 weeks ago, I lost my brother. We were close. Very close. I had to be put on medication to help me cope so I didn't lose it.

I was kind of in a haze for several weeks. I wrote a Fanpost about what I mistakenly thought was a misquote of Haley. The feed back was remarkable. Someone helped me to see that I had simply misreading the article. I stood corrected. Not surprised though. I was in la la land.

What was sad however, was the rudeness of some people on here towards me. I couldn't help but think of the lessons i learned  from J-man who came in to our site in good faith with a pure heart. Some people were horribly rude towards him because of his spelling or really the lack thereof. Then when people read his bio, they got it and felt bad.

I'm not here for a pity party. I just wanted to point out that when Chris and Joel say that they are tightening up a bit in here because of the rude nature of some comments/posts its for a legit reason.

I always poke fun at people and I have fun with it. I KNOW for a fact that I get taken too seriously sometimes. That's incidental to my point though. I just had a realization the other day about something and wanted to share it with you guys.

Here's what happened. I was watching the Chiefs Raiders game. I am in Florida and have never gotten to go to a game at Arrowhead. I've never even seen a Chiefs game live and in person. I want to tell you guys something that I feel is so important. I got choked up watching all the people cheering in unison for the Chiefs. Seeing little kids and parents all screaming for our beloved Chiefs. Seeing all red was amazing. I wanted to be there so bad.

If you live in KC your lucky. You get to be there for Red Friday and for the games. I've never been to either one. I don't get to sit amongst Kc fans wearing red and cheer with you guys. I don't know what it feels like to go to any sports bar and see red.  Point is..we should never take things for granted. We should be more patient with one another. More compassionate. You never know what the person who posts something we think is stupid is dealing with or has just gone through.

Let's try to get along and be good to one another. Life is fleeting and short. We have the Chiefs, win or lose. They are our team. We should have that in common and use it to have fun with one another. Noone else cares about us. We're all we have when it comes to football. Some things are more important than winning an argument or being popular online.

Whatever, I'm sure some people will care about what I'm saying and some won't, but that's okay.

We're all Chiefs fans here. Let's act like it. GO CHIEFS!!
