Jammal Charles- Factor Back????
Does anyone know what Jammal Charles injury is? We all know he wasn't listed on the injury report. I just have a feeling he could of been a factor back in this game. Dantrell Savage and Jackie Battle both had mistakes and they don't even come close to the speed of Charles! I hope to see him back soon! I think with the right o-line Jammal Charles will be a stud. I'm hoping he is our Darren Sproles!

Savage is better
Charles not injured, He doesn’t have good balance, he fumbles, he doesn’t run hard on KRs. I have not seen Charles make one big play, but I have seen hin screw up with an opening for a big play right in front of him whether it be falling on his face for no apperant reason, or fumbling and falling on his face fore no appearent reason.
Savage might not have as much top end speed but he does EVERYTHING else better.
We might see Charles over Battle but right now we need Battle on ST.
plus battle played a lot of fullback yesterday
which I think is awesome. He’s pretty fast in the open field and could be a factor at that position.
Your nuts
there isn’t one thing savage is better at, and jamaal charles has way better hands Savage drops balls.
Charles was just inactive
no injury.
but what do I know because I'm so negative and know nothing about anything...ever...
right
savage was the week before. Coach is just changing them in and out. He still has a ton of evaluating to do with a bunch of these guys.
Braccae illae virides cum subucula rosea et tunica Caledonia-quam elenganter concinnatur!
+1
And the new depth chart indicates Savage is now ahead of Charles. I found it odd he was out too though.
agree with kcchiefstd
Charles is pure speed but his acceleration is below average and he doesn’t have the greatest balance. He also rarely breaks tackles. Savage is a lot closer to Sproles’ skill set if that’s really what you’re looking for.
Speaking of good acceleration, if you saw Chris Johnson’s big TD run yesterday, you’ll know what I’m talking about. He stops and hops to elude a defender and the second his feet touch the ground, he’s at full speed again.
i never really understood
what the big facination with battle was, but i do like the idea of getting charles and savage both involved. Savage being on this team allows Charles to come off special teams and focus on running and catching instead of getting hammered.
