Showtime is doing a documentary series on the old AFL from its conception to the merger with the NFL.  It is called Full Color Football.

If you have Showtime I would highly recomend tuning in at 7pm central on Wendsday nights.  They aired the first of five parts earlier tonight and I'm sure there will be re-airs throughout the week.  It looks like the most fascinating football documentary I have seen.  It has a ton of stuff on Lamar Hunt and the old Dallas Texans.  The show ended with the team moving to KC.  It also has some good stuff on the other franchises in the orginal AFL like the NY Jets, Oakland Raiders, Houston Oilers, etc.  I wanted to ask the AP editors if it would be ok to post clips on fan shots.  There is some really good scenes I would like to show AP because not everyone has Showtime if it doesn't violate copyright laws.
