But no no drinking… yet. Croyle was terribly inaccurate and Thigpen… well he’s Thigpen. And in this offensive system – he stinks. There I said it. Hate to but it is what it is. I just don’t see how a Cassel-less offense can do hardly anything against one of the leagues top defenses from last year. Look for our defense to play well early but tire late (seen that before huh?) as the offense has trouble getting anything going against a fired up Ravens D.

Had big hopes before this game. Without Cassel we don’t have any good QBs. Against this D you have to make the GREAT throws. Croyle, looking at the last preseason game, fucked up every change to make some magic on the field. EVERY ONE! He stinks. Great arm; stinks.

I didn’t realize Savage was injured. Anyone know what his deal is? I’m sad that Flowers isn’t playing. It’s dumb how espn doesn’t even mention the fact that Flowers isn’t playing; all they are talking about is Cassel. What’s up with Guity too? Anyone know he was injured?
Men, the odds are against us this season, or so it seems. With espn dogging the Chiefs all summer, we are definitely underdogs, and hopefully we can prove some things.

I agree
I adopted them years ago because they were the worst team in football and I love to root for underdogs. And then they drafted Justin Smith out of Mizzou and now Chase Coffman too, so they’ve pretty much sealed the deal on being my second team.

Looking back on it,
a 2nd rounder for a 33 year old tight end is unheard of. We really got a great deal for him. Granted, he is the greatest TE in the history of the NFL.
His decline should come any day...
I have a feeling he will never be the same, also traditionally the NFC South is the most turbulent division. How hilarious is it going to be if Atlanta takes a major step back
