To All NYC Area Chiefs Fans
I wanted to invite any and all NYC area Chiefs fans to The Village Pour House for Sunday's game. There is a small group of us who meet there every Sunday during the regular season and, God willing, the playoffs. The entire back room used to be reserved for a large contingent of Kansas/Missouri folks who would show up. We used to have 5 TV's all to ourselves and they played the sound from the Chiefs game just for us!

However Herm ruined all that and all the fair weather fans stopped showing up. A small group of us, who weren't even part of the original group and who found it by accident, have held it down and they always reserve one TV for us and still play the sound...although I am afraid we will lose that this year if our numbers don't come back up.
We'd love to have all NJ and NYC area fans there for the opening game agaisnt the Ravens! I'm lookin at you NJChiefs fan. You know that waitress is going to be working!
So here are the details:
Village Pour House
64 Third Ave. at 11th Street
New York, NY 10003
We sit in the back room, shown here:
We sit just to the left of the fireplace there in the back. We used to have that entire room to ourselves! They'd even pull the curtain so we didn't have to look at the Giant fans ha!
If you are a Chiefs fan in the NYC area and you are reading this you are welcome! Be sure to mention AP!
Pour House is great. They have $10 pitchers of Bud and my favorite Bloody Mary's in the city.
I should be there just after 12 to lock down the seat. If you think you can make it holla in the comments!

Can't make opening day,
my local cute bartender would have my hide. Week 2 or 3 might be doable. Gotta be around here for the Giants game. I’ve talked too much shit to miss that one.
If you come to the Pour House
Maybe you can have OUR cute bartenders hide…just sayin

Wow.
The pics of that setup give me the jealousy…lots.
It is not at all what I had pictured in my mind ever since you first mentioned it. Nice.
Make a trip up to the city man
we’ll do it up.
see thos pannels with the art on them? they are pretty much windows and they aren’t sealed so great. It can get pretty drafty so sometimes they start up the firs place.
The place gets totally packed on Sundays. It is totally out of control.

I think we will get the old 13" black and white to ourselves.
Unless of course some one stole the coat hanger antenna.
Ahhhh Deliverance, Saskatchewan
Good times.
And so, Craig finds himself leaping from blog to blog, striving to put right what once went wrong, and hoping each time that his next leap, will be the leap home.
