Sunday will be the biggest day of his life no way the guy does not get up for this. New team new fans this is what its all about .
Im drawing the line right now

Hope...
We HOPE he starts. If he has any doubts about his injury then no I don’t want him to start but do we really want to rely on Croyle again? I want to have one season with just ONE QB playing. Please, just one season…haha

He's starting
He’s been waiting his whole life for this. All those years of hard work, all come down to this. The senior year at USC when he was promised the starting job, only to have it taken at the last moment and given to a rookie.
Anyone who thinks Cassel isn’t suiting up this weekend, hasn’t been paying attention.
This would be akin to training for the Olympics your entire life. Reality check: after Tanya Harding hit Nancy Kerrigan in the leg with the pipe, she still went out there and competed. And that was a lot worse injury than this one.
Anyone who thinks Matt isn’t starting this weekend really needs to cut down on their estrogen pill intake.

He's
NOT going to start, in fact, I believe he will be inactive! Yes he is taking reps, but very FEW, and what he does is extremely limited~ I watched with intrest as he dropped back, and even on the hand offs he was a GIMP!
I WANT HIM TO START, I NEED HIM TO START, but the fact is, and I hate to say it, HE WILL NOT START. He is basically a pawn right now, to help our offense throw the unknown at the Ravens!
Brodie will get the start, and Matt will once again watch as an opening day goes by, TO WANT to play is the NORM, and having a opening day start is not as important as having him ready for the other 15, or 14, whatever that maybe!
Sorry, but if you take a look and watch, there is no way in the world that his gimp will be better by Sunday! Makes me sad, but Ill be rooting for whomever is back there, I just dont think its Matt

If he can play and doesn't, what does that tell you about Haley?
That he’s full of BS. If Cassel can get out there, throw the ball and move around a little bit, he has to play. This team is being built on toughness and competitiveness. There’s no way Haley can tell the team Cassel is healthy enough, but we don’t believe in the OL ability to protect him. He can’t say that his week is a wash, so Cassel is put on theh shelf for til next week. Haley really will PLAY TO WIN THE GAME. He won’t just say it. We need leadership on that offense, and Cassel can supply it. If he can play, he will. And I’ll rock my #7 jersey all day long. Go Chiefs!

Practice or not, we won't know till noon on Sunday
They probably don’t know either. Whoever is back there has to be mobile and needs to be able to get away from pressure. I would rather have a healthy backup out there than a defenseless Matt Cassel who can’t extend plays with his feet.
