The Hall of Fame Game, that takes place the day following the enshrinement of the Class of 2009 (Bob Hayes, Randall McDaniel, Bruce Smith, Derrick Thomas, Ralph Wilson and Rod Woodson), caps the multi-day Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival in Canton.
It also marks the first of numerous ways in which the NFL will pay tribute to the American Football League’s 50th Anniversary Season throughout the year. The Titans (who began as the Houston Oilers) and the Bills are charter members of the AFL. The AFL merged with the NFL in 1970 with all of the AFL clubs joining the newly created American Football Conference (AFC). In honor of the anniversary, the Titans will take the field in Houston Oilers ‘60s styled uniforms. Buffalo will also wear throwback uniforms in the game.

That was by far the highlight of the trainwreck that was last season. I never get tired of watching that replay. The best is the one on nfl.com that has Len and Mitch doing the play-by-play. Mitch’s reaction is just priceless!

Not worried about the first TD. The defense held up, forced the punt. Who does a trick play in the pre-season? why show your hand? In any event, it was a pretty sweet play. D looked good the first drive.
TO is going to be BIG in Buffalo this year. He’s going to be Trent’s number 1 option this year (sorry Lee)
Run blocking doesn’t look good.
Lynch looks too big. Too slow. I think he should shed those 10 extra pounds he added this off-season.
O-line will struggle early, especially the rooks, but did anybody expect anything else?
Trent’s INT, half Levrite’s fault, half Trent’s.
D got shredded on the second drive. Very concerned they couldn’t get off the field.
Wish we could have saw the starters/Trent for another full series.
Overall: D had one good series, one bad. No pass rush, decent against the run. O looked good on first series, the no-huddle is going to be exciting this year. Run game is going to struggle I think.

I wouldn’t expect much out of the Bills this year…Especially in that division.

they had the softest of games last year. Look for them to drop off or stay the same. Watch Miami take a dive this year as well.

I think Miami will probably be pretty good but, get overpowered in their division. I figure theyll finish about 8-8

The AFC East played terrible teams all year. I think Miami improved for sure but…I don’t think they had any business winning 11 games. I still think they are on the way up though. I just think they will go 8-8 this year.

To answer the question in Chris' post,
this was a horrible Sunday. Not only did I miss the first football game of the season, I had to miss it while stand behind a cash register for 9 hours, watching as two different people drove off without paying for their gas (and thus, two calls/visits with the local police). I’m glad I’m making decent money, or I’d quit very soon.
I said I probably wouldn't watch....
I ended up watching…..beer in hand & loving every second of seeing the first hint of football. I have to say it was a good day……
