Training Camp Trends
I've noticed the following trends in the reporting out of training camp:
Mat Cassel is proving himself as a leader and a passer.
The battle for the rest of the QB depth chart is going to be fierce.
Bernard Pollard is always devastating someone.
the defensive line arrangement is not set and may not be for a while.
Amani Toomer is always the one with the big catch
Tabma Hali is making positive strides in his transition to OLB but hasn't quite yet sealed the deal
Quinten Lawrence is making good catches and is looking like he could wind up making the team
Webb is looking like he'll get cut
the front 7 are getting penetration
TE is a wide open position
Larry Johnson is mentally in the right place to succeed
Dwayne Bowe's ear is now Todd Haley's new permanent residence.
Ryan Succop could hit from 70 yards in his sleep but would miss half of his PATs.

cottom needs to secure this job i have been
boasting and bragging about this guy to every chief hater this guy must step up and do his job .
FOUR F'S FIND UM FEEL UM FUGUM FORGET UM.
He's got some real competition
Sean Ryan is looking like the guy to beat at the moment, and that may not be a bad thing. He’s a serious blocker and can also catch the ball. Has more experience than Cottam too. Having at least two guys who can play the position well is a very good thing.
Chiefs go 9-7. LJ makes 1400 yards. DBowe makes 1200 yards. Defense #18.
QB
Did you see Babb’s comments that Croyle is taking the #2 QB job, and Thigpen may not even make the team???
That would be shocking, and disappointing!
I still think QB depth can be a strength with Thigpen… I’d be scared w/out him
"I doubt anyone will miss Connor Barth except UCrawford"
I am really looking forward to when Haley starts to hand out arrowheads on the helmet.
That will show us which players have made an impression on the staff, and who is poised to lead this team. I think the first batch of players will include Cassel, Vrabel, Pollard, Flowers and I think to suprise many Larry Johnson.
