Jamaal Charles Workload
Hey guys, great blog you have here. I'm in the middle of a slow draft for my fantasy league right now. My next pick is coming up and I'm considering selecting Jamaal Charles. The next best avialable players IMO are guys like Chester Taylor, Leon Washington, Chris Chambers, and Miles Austin. So I have two questions for you. One, what kind of workload do you think he will get on offense? Is he strictly a third down guy or will he slowly usurp time from LJ and perhaps eventually take his job? And two, would you pick Charles over all of those guys? The league is standard scoring other than .5 PPR. Thanks in advance for all the help.

You draft is probably over now
but pick Charles. He is young and has huge upside. He is also usually the fastes player on the field. He is having a really good camp.
He is also a big play guy. He could score anytime he gets the ball.
Right now he is KC’s #2 RB. However, I expect them to use him a ot this year catching passes out of the backfield.
If you can, draft him. Big sleeper potential and huge upside. Especially if LJ gets hurt.
D-Bowe, Mark Bradley, Bobby Engram and Turtle. Four Chiefs WRers. 4 Pro Bowlers.

I went with Washington
I’m hoping Charles falls to my next pick.

I'd take Charles
Chambers isn’t going to be much of a factor this year, Washington has less upside, Taylor flat out sucks and Austin has less than 400 yards and just 3 TDs in his 4 year career.
Bask in the glory that is Kwame Harris. Poor Alex...
