Coaching philosophy
could put us over the top. Listening to coach Haley's press conferences has arrested a lot of my fears and preconceived impressions of his attitude and his ability to be a head coach. He is pushing competition to its highest level. he's not giving anyone any cushion of comfort. He made everyone lose weight so that they couldn't slack off by using their size to gain an advantage and therefore making it necessary for them to use fundamental techniques like everyone else.
I see exactly what he is doing and I am sure the players do too. I've been waiting for training camp to see what we have to look forward to and I think the future is looking real good now for the Chiefs. I think there will be a lot of surprises this year for all the teams on our schedule who are taking us for granted.
The core of our team is young, but the blend of older players gives us a chance to win right now. I don't think we have ever beaten the Houston Texans but I think this is just one more reason to come out of the shoot firing on all cylinders. I know it's only preseason, but it would be nice.
I love it! Next Saturday baby! Let's go! Chiefs!

I think we have a real live coach on our hands
Chiefs go 9-7. LJ makes 1400 yards. DBowe makes 1200 yards. Defense #18.
+1 on Haley..
I hope Branden Albert can keep Andre Johnson off of Cassel next Saturday. That dude is SCARY. I would hate to lose our franchise guy to a big hit in the preseason.
I think you mean Mario Williams
I've been rapping for about seveteen years okay? I don't write my stuff anymore I just kick it from my head you know what I'm sayin? I can do that. No disrespect but that's how I am.
i am really impressed by haley
I mean he seems to be having these players in good spirits they know its a fresh start they know we have something special i just see the whole tone of the players voices like wow we can do something here we have something special brewing im liking it. ANd every player is right we do have something special here . I just hope we can put it all together and hit the ground running in preseason to be full stride once we hit game one and just play as a team and win some games early.
FOUR F'S FIND UM FEEL UM FUGUM FORGET UM.
totally agree on Haley
It sure seems to me that he has been totally preparing for this opportunity for a lot of years and really given thought to how he would do things, how he would organize things, and motivate players, etc. I am very impressed and think he is going to be the real deal.
Hopes fade once again from blue to red. Go New Chiefs!!
Except for NT, I've never heard of extra flab giving anybody an advantage.
No question. Otis Taylor should be in the Hall of Fame.
NT ?

I am really starting to agree with you.
The whole time since Haley had been announced as the head coach I’ve had a “wait and see” attitude. Not so the last couple weeks.
In his first few press conferences he seemed to be just as vague as Herm. Now since OTAs started he is being pretty specific about players and positions. The specific comments he’s been making lead me to believe that he knows what he wants and knows how to get it.
Like mentioned by dablueguy I love the fact that people are being held accountable. I love both ends of the spectrum where he is calling out certain positions for underachieving and certain/players and positions that are stepping up.
The more I see the more credibility he is getting with me.
