amazing
I’ve never seen that before but that really gives some good goosebumps remembering the glory days.
Hopes fade once again from blue to red. Go New Chiefs!!

Ok, so
Congrats to DT and his family.
But I have a quote from a twitter feed from kent Babb, yesterday it was “the d is behind” today its:
“So somebody fill me in: Why the sudden fascination with Tank Tyler? I like the guy and all, and he’s good, but is he this year’s Sippio?”
ok…so…Sippio was a 1 year wonder of sorts in terms of fan support, Tank, in his 3rd year, has a lot of interest in him for the obvious reason of: its a 3/4 defense and the NT is a VERY VERY important position. Yes Ron Edwards would be fine, but if Tank can step up, thats one less bust, one more starter taken care of…
I just dont see how Tank is this year’s sippio, overhyped camp fodder is not what Tank is…I would call Rodney White the media’s Sippio…I just dont see the connection.
Patrick Allen: I saw you asked babb about the defense comment….I just dont buy that outlook he gave.

Yeah
Not much of a Babb fan here. I’d rather save the speculation and opinions for the AP folks, not the press. He needs to mind his place. Tank is going to be more than fine as our new NT.

Watching DT put all those crushing hits on elway makes you feel good inside, and makes you wonder IF we will ever get another LB or DE that are even close to the Derrick Thomas/Neil Smith tandem.

I doubt it
May find a guy like smith, but not DT, he could do it all, VERY WELL.
And I take into consideration the fact that, you watch those highlights, and on one of them, the ball is bouncing, the smith and DT are after it with a guy from the other team….instead of getting the ball, Smith takes out the opponent, DT picks up the football, and takes it for 6…
its that type of unselfish play and intelligent play that is hard to find…Im hoping we may finally have that duo, teamwork, in magee/jackson, flowers/carr(hasty/carter)….we will see.

Chills!
Today, I’m just so excited yet saddened. He is finally going to be inducted into the HOF. The last chapter on DT. DT will always live on through us fans, his foundation, and his family. But this is the last chapter for DT. Makes me happy that he is among a group of people that are elite in every sense of the word. But it is so sad that this is the last thing DT can accomplish.
RIP DT, and congratulations.

Memories
came flooding back and a tear ran down my cheek I was fortunate enough to be a Chiefs fan when this guy was drafted. I watched him throughout his career and still love and admire the guy. He will forever be my favorite player to don a Chiefs uniform. God bless him and may he rest in peace. I know he’ll be looking down today with a big ’ol smile on is face.
Put this in your pipe and smoke it:
1. Chiefs will be at least 8-8 and vie for division champs
2. DJ will break out and finally have his year
3. LJ returns to form
4. DBowe drops will reduce

I think DT could smell the ball
There were times when you would think that someone took DT out of the play, then all of the sudden DT would make a move and be all over who ever had the ball.
Herm is gone things are better with that one move!!

Just scary...
I’m thinking that and videos like that required viewing for Hali. Heck, splice it in there with Neil Smith highlights and put the whole defense to watching it.
Utterly rediculous some of the moves he put on there. I sat watching it wondering why they even tried to stop him.
