The new face of the Kansas City Chiefs was enjoying a relaxing dinner with wife, Lauren, at a Kansas City country club. That is, until the waiter dished about their menu choices and conversation.
Cassel ready on his own after Tom Brady's Franchise QB 101 - USATODAY.com
NJ Chiefs Fan linked this in the overnight news section today but I wanted to specifically mention this article because it was written by someone from AP...but the post was quickly deleted.
I'll let the regulars sort out the details in the comments for those that want to know but its pretty cool (not exactly for the right reason) that Tom Brady was laughing about Arrowhead Pride.

A person who use to comment on here regularly use to work as a waiter at the mentioned country club. One night shortly after the chiefs traded for cassel he was serving dinner to him and his wife.
He later wrote a creepy and very detailed account of Matt and his wife’s dinner on AP. unfortunately this got the waiter/writer fired and he later wrote an apology note to Matt Cassel.

To be fair
The waiter didn’t really “dish” on Matt Cassel, just made a lot of creepy comments about his wife.

It was deleted
The worst part was that some gossip columnist picked it up before it was deleted and it later appeared on the front page of a little local KC paper (Sun magazine)

At least the gossip guy
Re-printed some of the comments where someone here called him a “douchenozzle”

That columnist is a real douche as well
He posted a direct link to the users profile. And seriously if you are a gossip columnist, you have no right to criticize anyone, ever. Im debating or rather or not gossip columnist should even be allowed to breath.

So it was
just some creepy sexual stuff then, no actual insight or relaying of funny stories or something?

No it wasn't sexual at all
The waiter described what he had for dinner, what he ordered, etc….it was a Chiefs fan who saw the quarterback, he was excited….No harm in the post, but as a waiter he’s intruding on Matt’s personal life, and probably shouldn’t have done it.

Number of bathroom visits was the really bad part.

I guess you didn't get unedited version
Describing his visit to the same stall she used.
In short they needed a new toliet seat by the end of the night.
(i kid, I kid)

Hopefully you've been reading the UWRF recaps.
Imagine the people that write those watching you and your significant other while eating a meal. Then imagine they did an unedited recap. That’s pretty close to what it was.
The guy was very excited and very observant.

It was weird though
Because it was obvious he meant no harm in it. I think the fact that he got the chance to serve Matt Cassel got him so excited that he didn’t think about how creepy it was. He just went straight into “collect info” mode and then posted.
"...Said he couldn't go on the American way"
I got the same impression.
If he had just posted “Dudes! I totally served Cassel and his wife dinner at the Country Club” he would have gotten away with it.
