Status of Brandon Flowers
Has anybody heard anything about Flowers? I'm starting to get a little worried. Is tomorrow going to be another disappointing day on the injury/ player status. I'm not trying to be negative like many people, but damn Cassel's possibility of him missing our first game when he hasn't even played in anything other than preseason games, Thomas retiring, awful o-line, Devard Darling out for the year. I'm praying Flowers isn't going to be out for longer than a couple days. I truly believe he is going to be one of the star CB's of the league on down the road (hell he already is on our defense).
Anyways, anybody heard anything?

I've heard
He could miss some real time…but that’s just second hand information. Nothing really being said about his shoulder injury.

Gretz said today:
– Flowers shoulder injury does not appear to be serious, but he could miss several games. Working in his spot with the first team defense was rookie Donald Washington.

that stinks...
but, it does give Washington a chance to prove himself

Does anyone know what happened?
I went back and watched it again and he was perfectly fine after the interception and touchdown.
The first play after that was a running play and the runner was being tackled as Flowers was coming up and there was some contact, but it didn’t really look like much but Flowers did kind of jump away out of the camera frame.
He was still in the next play but was not in on the play. The very next play after that Leggett took his place and Flowers never came back.

That's been my question too.
I haven’t been able to find the moment he was injured, or when he was even attended to on the sidelines.

Flowers was playing well after the TD
I went back and watched my recording of it. He played well into the next series and just kind of disappeared after a running play where he was being blocked but there was no serious contact or anything. There was absolutely no indication of him being injured from the broadcast of the game so who knows. With this new regime, we’ll probably never know.
