My Thoughts On The First Three Games

for what they're worth...lol.

Anyways here we go:

1. Tamba Hali has earned his Arrowhead as of Saturday night.  I think he is going to do good things and the move to LB is good for him in this defense.

2. Corey Mays and Andy Studebaker have earned their spots on the team as of this last game. The younger guys I had hoped for to one day take over for Vrabel and ZT may just be here with us already.

3. Why have we been forsaken on finding three decent O Linemen to help Waters and Albert?  What price do we have to pay as fans to continue this debacle of "duds" we keep bringing in to try out for C, RG and RT? Do I need to come out of retirement as a 48 year old to show them how its done? Please God help us!

4. I would cut McGraw in favor of Morgan after the Sat night game.  I thought Morgan played better and has more potential.

5. Why did it take so long for Demorrio Williams to show up? Has he not been able to find the stadium until now?  WTF?

6. I would punch Herman Edwards square in the nuts if I saw him in public for bringing Tyler "oh shit here comes a pass rush" Thigpen to the Chiefs team and trying to make us believe he is a legit QB in this League.

7. Keep the Guitarman and send Tyler out for a pizza with no return ride home!

8. "Turk McBride, what went wrong?" The next ABC after school special on players who had ability but couldnt use it. Time to hit the road Turk man and Tank may not be far behind you, so don't make any furniture store plans without him at your new destination.

9. Are we even going to need a TE in this new offense?

10. Why couldnt we use what Seattle did against us with the quick outs and quick slants across the middle to get our passing game going? Oh yeah, Chan got canned!

11. I think we had 92 yards rushing in the first half, that should be a good sign of something. I think LJ has that chip back, but let's see a full 4 quarters.

12. Monty Beisel was a huge pickup for us.  Why did we ever let him leave?

13. Colclough, could have never been invited to camp and would have had better results as a Chief.

14. Ryan Succop is going to have a good career.

15. Time for Bowe to get his Arrowhead also. He seems to be the only consistent receiver...wait the only receiver we have.  I wonder if they quadruple team in the NFL?

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Arrowhead Pride's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Arrowhead Pride writers or editors.

Personally...

If I were Haley, I would resort to embarassment for the O-Line…“How many QBs are you going to get injured this year” as the message…

YES we need them to block
they haven’t done so yet

Good points.

2. Add Belcher to that list. We brought in Mays to be a special teams guy and he’s now our starting ILB and a good one at that, easily the biggest surprise on the team. Belcher has come in and turned into what we expected from Mays.

3. With the addition of the Miami duo and what we have I think RG will be ok. Ndukwe was the highest rated RG, as far as pass protection goes, in the league last year.

5. Demorrio was injured the whole time and just worked his way back in. He did look pretty active Saturday.

9. We’ll need a good blocking TE if we cant find a suitable RT.

good post to take me away from the Gailey, Haley debacle.

Agree with most of your comments but the line, I think we should bring in 3 guys next to waters from BFE, these men will not be allowed to shave or bathe, and are only allowed to eat the injured players from the other team. They would never be allowed to smile since they would only have a total of 4 combined teeth. Their god given names would be replaced by Humphy, Taz, and Kimbo. we would keep them locked in the vistors locker room until gameday.

if anyone read the entire comment I’m sorry for wasting you time.

McBride big enough to play RT?:)

I am with ya Lanier, we need three o-lineman Niswanger is not going to cut it, is Alleman the answer? Goff put him on the next thing that is smokin out of town. I was stuck at work for 13 hours on Sat, how did Indukwe look at RT?

Now hopefully this team is fun to watch again! Thanks Scott, Clark!!

Turk

for the first time all preseason, I saw him make a few plays the other night
I think he may have a shot at sticking around.

Though, I’d love it if Pierre Walters stepped up and beat him out as Hali’s backup.

I think we can learn something from Seattle.

I thought Saturday our 1s were getting very good pressure on the QB and beating their oline for the most part but it didnt result in sacks because of how Seattles offense runs. Hasselback was getting the ball out very quick. Quick routes, quick passes, 3 step drops. Maybe something we could use to help make up for a less then stellar line and keep our QB upright.

I was pissed about that
It was strange how the Chiefs DBs stayed so far off of the receivers… I would think they would have made an adjustment to try and disrupt those short routes

Cover your man, juke him at the line…Days of Hasty and Carter cannot be forgotten.

Its the D. Coordinators job to make that call.

Something tells me Clancy shut it down midway through the 2nd quarter to not show too much because theres no way he goes 13 plays in a row with no press coverage when we kept getting burned on short routes.

Seriously McBride sucks ass

Get rid of him dammit!

I’m afraid I prematurely shot my wad on what was supposed to be a dry run, if you will, so now I’m afraid I have something of a mess on my hands. -Arrested Development
