Pioli needs to be held accountable!
Pioli is to blame for not propering evaluating the o-line and the press needs to hold him accountable. We can't have another 20 years of no accountability at the GM level.

Pioli?!?!
That is so not true. First of all, everyone that knows anything at all about football knows the Chiefs line is like the entire team, in transition. Secondly, he just traded for 2 linemen. He knows what goin on. He just isnt a a damn genie. He cant just go poof! Find a legitimate reason to scrutinize him,.
Wow
3rd preseason game, two weeks until the start of the regular season, still so far under the cap, and we have fans trying to rally the troops, demanding Pioli be held accountable? For what? Upgrades in management, coaching, QB, and D…but i guess that isn’t a lot or enough? He picked up two players to shore up that line and he isn’t even CLOSE to being done.
This team was in SHAMBLES after last season. Expecting a miracle in less then a year and using a third preseaon game as the watermark for accountability, that’s silly.
Exactly
I expect at least one of the Miami guys will be phased in with the starters soon. I’m sure Pioli will be watching who gets cut and be searching for trade partners. There just aren’t very many good FA lineman right now. This probably isn’t our year (usually the third season is when rebuilding projects should be completed) but no need to go into crisis lockdown mode. Just always remember, the Lions went 4-0 last preseason.
I'm not sure that Pioli needs to take a whole lot of
heat yet! Keep in mind he got a very late start on this thing. His first priority had to be a Head Coach. (No, I don’t think Haley was his first choice) By the time he got his Coach hired it was time to hire a staff, then they had evaluate what they had on the roster already, that had to be done by evaluating tape. Only then could they address it’s short comings.
Yes, absolutely I think he should have signed Jason Brown as a free agent, why that didn’t happen I’ll never understand, the Center problem would have been solved, instead he signs GutCheck. But he did bring in Goff and he drafted Brown and it’s way to early to know if those were good signing or not .
So I think your accountability concern is premature.
jan, feb, march, april, may, june, july, august -oh! now I need o-line help
the point is this was an obvious area of need and he did very little before August to fix a mission critical element of the team.
Time will tell..smells like Carl Peterson. Blinded by his own ego…

Chill out dude!
He took over a horrible team. You can’t expect him to win 11 games his first year. Give the guy a chance. The Patriots went 5-11 the first year Bill Bellicheck was in New England. Pioli will build a contender gauranteed!!!!
Accountability
The players should be the ones held accountable. They demand high salaries but don’t produce. Pioli and Haley are working to to build a winning team but they need something to work with. Herm let them have their way so now they don’t care if they win or lose, just so they draw their money. It is time they started earning a living.
