I love the work ethic he is instilling in our players. I just hope he doesn’t scare anyone studs off, but then again, I have a feeling Pioli and Haley will find a way to win regardless in the coming years.

kill. Good way to teach patience and discipline. You saw how disciplined this team was last year. Herm knew how to talk the talk, but he didn’t make the players walk the walk. Haley seems like he’s going to take no BS and make no excuses. I feel a helluva lot better about where this team is at now than I have the previous 3 seasons.

And the discipline will spill over into areas beyond just offsides, of course. Practices doesn’t make perfect. It only ingrains what you do. Perfect practice makes perfect.

On a related note: At the Raiders camp In Napa, anyone the coaches suspect is thinking about being offsides is required to visualize himself running 200 yards.
