I still feel like there are people out there who caught a snippet of negative Dwayne Bowe news a couple of weeks ago and still think something is wrong with the guy.
There isn't.
Bowe caught three passes tonight and was targeted five times. One pass went for six yards; another twelve yards and a first down; and finally a 20-yard catch and run by Bowe where he looked like a #1 receiver for the first time in a while.
Bowe leads all Chiefs wide receivers by a wide margin in receiving yards. Quinten Lawrence pretty quietly has been the most targeted Kansas City wide receiver this preseason.
After the jump, I've got the Chiefs WRs ranked from right to left by most receptions. Even though this is a WR post, I'd like to point out that Dantrell Savage did not play tonight played very little tonight, registering no stats. Odd, no? Did I miss something? Is he gone on Tuesday when the first cuts come down?
