its presesaon, hes a god damn rookie, hes done bettter than all of us have expected – kickers miss field goals , that shit happens.
They don't have the roster space available for that.

I’m not saying we made a mistake by releasing Barth. Sorry, Army talk. All I’m saying is we already played the “lets put pressure on the rookie kicker” thing and decided he was good to go.
However, bringing someone else in right now hinders the team. Stick with him. Mare is a former Pro Bowler and missed a chip shot.

hes getting used to games
that stuff happens – vinatieri misses chp shots, all kickers do – no kick is ever guaranteed to go in – at the end of the year, we can argue this – when it COUNTS – well look at his FGM to FGA percentage and duke it out. but right now, dont worry about Succop- he drills them in practice, but NFL games are a lot different, he needs to get used to kicking like that – its good were putting him in those situations tho, thats all that matters, hes gettin the kinks out now.

He’s grabbing the front of his leg and not the side, so it’s probably not an ACL. But front of the leg can be a problem too (patellar tendon). Or it could be just a sprain and he’s out just a few weeks and not the season.
