New Kansas City general manager Scott Pioli kept it in the family as he tried to upgrade the Chiefs' offensive line.
Pioli acquired two offensive linemen from the Miami Dolphins for undisclosed compensation, likely future draft considerations, two NFL sources said. The Dolphins are run by Bill Parcells, who is Pioli's father-in-law.
The Chiefs acquired guard/tackle Ikechuku Ndukwe and guard/center Andy Alleman. Ndukwe is expected to push for a starting spot at guard or tackle.
He was a starting guard for the Dolphins last season but was moved to tackle this year.

ESPN is reporting Alleman wasn't the only O-Line help Pioli brought over from the Fins.

It was just a matter of time...
Perhaps at least ONE of the revolving doors on the right side will stop spinning with this move. But most of all, I’m really glad to see us finally getting younger on the O line. Both of these guys will contribute. I wonder who’s the odd man out today? KC waived LB Vince Redd already so I think they have to make one more move to have space for both of these linemen. My vote goes to send Dmac to the scrap heap.

I think this takes Goff out of the picture in my opinion.
Sounds like Ndukwe is a decent guard. he played most of the year last year for the fins and their line played pretty well. Maybe we can get two starters out of the deal and he can play tackle and Alleman will be our new guard. PIpe dream? Maybe but, I can dream can’t I?
